The Aquafitness lessons at Le Têtard include various aquatic fitness styles . Our lessons can be found in the activities of Aquabike, Aquagym, Prenatal Aquagym and Personal Trainer.

All our activities are open to all participants who are at least 16 years old and who wish to take advantage of the many benefits of aquatic exercises. no medical contraindication to practice our aquafitness sessions (pregnancy, back problems, heart problems) while the benefits are many (Improvement of the blood circulation, muscular toning, stamina ...).

As always, all the exercises used in our lessons have been studied and approved by the school "Le Têtard". Our teachers are constantly respecting their pupils’s limits, while encouraging them to go beyond without risking injury or overwork.

Organized in small groups in the exclusive environnement of our private swimming pools, without chemical chlorine and at the ideal temperature of 32 ° C , our Aquafitness lessons are the ideal choice for those who wish to recover or remain fit, with music and with a good mood.

Lastly, it is worth noting that it is not necessary to be able to swim to enjoy our Aquafitness sessions. Indeed, the lessons take place in a depth of approximately 1.40m, allowing to easily stand on your feet with your head above the water during the lesson.

All our lessons are available on SUBSCRIPTION or on APPOINTMENT!

The SUBSCRIPTIONS corresponds to a weekly lesson, same day, same time and in the same pool for a pre-established period.
These periods correspond to 13 consecutive weeks (excluding Christmas and Easter holidays) and are designed to allow optimal learning according to our objectives / levels.

APPOINTMENTS allow you to join one lesson at the time. This is Le Têtard’s most flexible formula !
These one-time lessons are available throughout the year and therefore also during all school holidays.
This formula is particularly suitable for those wishing to discover Le Têtard’s lessons, or for those whose schedule does not allow for a regular session every week.

The Aquabike, also known as Aquabiking, Aquaspinning or Aquacycling, is a new aquatic fitness activity that is efficient and accessible to everyone!

This activity looks at first sight to the classic bike, but it is actually much more efficient!

Indeed, the Aquabikes being immersed in water and part of your body, you work more thanks to the strength of the water.

Nevertheless, you do not have to be a high level athlete to get started, it's a softer bicycle for the joints than a regular bicycle, thanks to our exclusive level setting of the strength of the pedals of the Aquabike.

Aquagym is a dynamic, fun and complete Aquafitness lesson that allows you to quickly regain your stamina thanks to combinations of endurance aquatic exercises.

Indeed, during the lessons, we will work both the upper and the lower limbs of the body, not forgetting, of course, cardio-training.

The whole equipment is of professional quality in order to guarantee the greatest comfort of use as well as a better durability. The different pieces of equipment can be alternated to increase or decrease the intensity of the exercises in order to adapt to your level.

Mid-way between sports and relaxation, prenatal aquagym helps relieve the body of tensions due to pregnancy.

Through immersion in the water, participants perform non-traumatic movements and regain an ease that makes them forget the weight of their terrestrial body.

Unlike classical aquagym, neither the heart nor the abdominal belt is stressed.

Special care is finally given to exercises that increase the well-being of the mother and her baby.

THE BENEFITS OF AQUAGYM

They are of several kinds. Aquagym will initially allow pregnant women to do physical activity despite the difficulty of moving on land, especially in late pregnancy.

This activity will also help maintain the muscle tone required for delivery.

The movements made in the water will help to alleviate possible back pain and improve the blood circulation in a perfectly gentle way for the joints.

CONDUCT OF A LESSON

In general, a session is divided into four parts.

It begins with a warm-up followed by a breathing exercise underwater and on the surface.

Then, it follows up with stretches and simulation of the push depending on the stage of your pregnancy.

The session ends with relaxation exercises.

AQUAGYM AND DELIVERY

Aquagym not only helps maintain muscle tone but also prepares the mum to better control her inspirations and expirations thanks to the breathing exercises that will facilitate the release of the fetus thanks to more tonic thrusts.

UNTIL WHEN IN PREGNANCY

Aquagym can be practiced by all pregnant women without contraindication from the third month of pregnancy until the last day.

However, we advise you to always seek the advice of your doctor and avoid the course during the last 2 weeks of pregnancy.

The Personal Trainer is an exclusive and tailor-made lesson format based on the principles of Aquagym and to follow alone or with a person of your choice (maximum 2 participants).

=> TAILORED EXERCISES FOR MAXIMUM BENEFITS!

  • In order to be able to have the time to prepare / prepare the pupil(s) for the lesson, it is advisable to arrive ± 15 minutes before the lesson start time.
    Indeed, the lesson starting time corresponds to the moment when the pupil may enter the water. It is therefore useful to plan a little time to be ready on time.
  • In terms of equipment, the practice of our Aquafitness activities can be carried out barefoot.
    However, it is sometimes nice to plan to bring sandals to increase the comfort of the feet!
    It is always advisable to plan to wear sandals to avoid slipping when accessing the pool.
  • It is also recommended to bring a bottle of water in order to quench your thirst.
  • It is advisable to attach long hair for greater comfort during sessions.
  • There are theoretically no medical contraindications for practicing our Aquafitness activities!
    For any doubt about the pupil’s health, it is always advisable to consult your doctor.
  • Lastly, it is useful to remember to regularly check your customer account!
